Frequently asked questions
Can I use Foamer 15 if I have sensitive skin?
You can use Foamer 15 if you have sensitive skin but once a week. If you encounter discomfort, it is recommended to use Foamer 5 which contains a lower concentration of glycolic acid.
What is the difference between Foamer 5 and Foamer 15?
The difference between the two products results from the intensity of the glycolic acid concentration. Foamer 5 contains 5% of glycolic acid and Foamer 15, 15%. The glycolic acid or AHA (Acid α-hydroxy) derived from fruit acids is known for its keratolytic action. It easily penetrates the skin to stimulate cell renewal by destroying the bonds that bind dead cells together. Foamer 15 is more intense and is ideal for normal to oily skin.
Can I use Foamer 15 during pregnancy and breasfeeding?
It is not recommended to use Foamer 15 during pregnancy and/or breasfeeding due to the presence of fruit acids such as Glycolic acid in high concentration.
Can I use Foamer 15 if I have nut allergies?
When using skincare products, the risk for nut allergies is small or non-existent since the ingredients used (for example oils produced from nuts) have been refined to the point that most of the proteins which may cause allergies have been removed.
But, in Foamer 15 there is a nut-derived ingredient : Cocamidopropyl betaine.
