Its penetration into the skin (bioavailability) is increased when associated with other molecules such as Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid (PCA) or with certain chelated forms such as Zinc Gluconate. Its ability to reduce sebum production and its anti-microbial properties make it suitable for oily skin.
