What is shea butter? 

Shea butter is a wonderfully rich and soothing ingredient extracted from shea tree nuts. Native to West Africa, where most of shea is still sourced, it has a very high concentration of vitamins and skin-replenishing fatty acids.

What are its properties?

Thanks to its intense composition, shea butter is widely recognized as a creamy, richly textured ingredient and a powerful moisturizer that works wonders on dry skin. Shea butter also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that make it a fantastic all-round active to soothe and help repair skin.

This fully biodegradable, natural butter is classed as completely safe, non-irritating and non-toxic even when in contact with the eyes. An indulgent, beloved ingredient for healthy, pampered and hydrated skin, it can be used on all skin types.
